Publicity and Promotion

Publicity and promotion is one area of business I need work on.  I tend to be quiet and like to stay out of the lime light.  However in this business, making money online, you have to be able to make yourself stand out and speak up for your product or site.  You can’t be shy.

I’m not the best at marketing myself and always feel so rude at promoting my products on Twitter or in forums.  Twitter has helped me with this a ton and so has Mom Masterminds but I still have a ways to go.

I have written a couple of press releases but haven’t really done anything with them because of this too.  I just don’t know what to do and what to expect and that makes me apprehensive and I end up doing nothing.  And this doesn’t help my business any.
